  Little Falls Arts & Crafts Fair

This is one of the largest craft fairs in the Upper Midwest. Music is also featured at various areas throughout the fair. Held the same weekend and in conjunction with the Antiques & Collectibles Fair and the Antique Auto Show. Adm. free.

A raffle is held to benefit Trimborn Farm featuring items donated by 95% of the exhibitors. Advertised in local media. A full feature is normally done on one exhibitor in a metropolitan newspaper. Adm. $4

43rd Annual  Mount Angel Octoberfest

Thurs - Fri: 11am - 8pm; Sun: 11am - 6pm

There is something for everyone at Mount Angel's Oktoberfest: Over 60 little food chalets laden with rich, delicious Bavarian treats; a large arts and crafts show full of treasures to take home; an adult Biergarten, family Weingarten and interactive family Alpinegarten. There is free entertainment on the village bandstand featuring all of the great sounds of the alpine country and a free Kindergarten on Saturday and Sunday.  Enjoy a sports program that includes golf and volleyball tournaments, a high school football classic, a 200-vehicle cruz-n car show and so much more. Adm. Free

 Show Location: Most booths line the streets of downtown Mt. Angel (about 80%); a selection of upper end crafts, jewelry and fine arts are located indoors (about 20%) at St. Mary's School Gym on College St. Outdoor space by the gym is also available.

 Est. Attendance: 350K   

Requirements for entry: Juried by photograph. No jury fee.  - Send photos of booth and products you wish to sell. Imports are accepted if hard to find and they support the German/Bavarian theme. Downtown outdoor booths are preferably easy-up frames with a Bavarian façade tastefully decorated with white lights, lattice or other materials and flowers, ivy or hop vines. Booth dimensions are limited to 12 ft wide by 10 ft deep space. Bavarian folk costume is required (i.e.: puffy blouse and apron or pants with suspenders.) Cost is $400 per space.   Outdoor booths by the gym are 10X10 or lager and will accommodate easy-ups. Bavarian facades are not necessary here. Cost is $300 per space. Indoor booths in the gym are 10X10. Crafter must provide own tables. Cost is $300 per space.   App. DL: 4/30/08

  Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival

This popular festival starts off with a pancake breakfast at the pavilion. Throughout the day there will be a variety of live entertainment on 3 stages. The entire family will enjoy Kids Kingdome with a climbing wall, entertainment, petting zoo, carnival booths, and lots more. Visitors can also enjoy premium wines from four local wineries as well as micro-brewed beer and a wide variety of food specialties from two dozen community groups. Requirements for entry: Juried - $15 application fee.  - Open to artists & craftspersons selling original, handmade art & crafts. We strive for diversity in both price range and medium. No food products, imports, kits or mass-produced items will be considered. No dealers or representatives. Booths will be checked during the festival to ensure that only juried work is sold. Selection is based on originality, quality, presentation and number or exhibitors allotted to each category. Along with application, send 5 photos of work showing variety and quality, 1 photo of your booth, and photos of three stages of production in your workshop/studio.   App. DL: March 1 & June 1

  Richford Potato Festival

There will be events all throughout the town - the fire hall hosts a breakfast and lunch, there is a health fair & live radio broadcast from the local health center, The Richford Church sells potato soup. The Historical Society has a quilt show and sells Taters 'N Cream ice cream. There isll also be a parade, car show and library book sale going on. Adm. free.
